Tell us about the moment that you decide you wanted to pursue photography as your profession and what are you looking forward to over the next year as your photographic journey develops?

I never actually thought about pursuing it as a profession until It pretty much became my profession. It was always something I enjoyed doing in my spare time, I’m a big believer in keeping a balance between work and doing what you love. I never looked for paid assignments but I kept getting offers. I now eat, sleep, and breathe photography and I’m loving every minute of it.

I have a couple photographic trips planned for this year, but mainly I’m most excited to keep exploring my backyard in the Pacific Northwest. There’s something new to see here every day.

Flew to Australia (twice) and waited in line for 5 hours but I finally got to see my favourite artist live. It was perfect and my life has peaked.
